Bangalore Palace, Bengaluru

3.2
Nestled among beautiful gardens, Bangalore Palace often serves as a venue for concerts of world-renowned artists. The exterior, which features elaborate wood carvings and many turrets, is reminiscent of the Tudor-style architecture, while the interior boasts Victorian, Neoclassical, and Edwardian furniture. • Go and take some photograph from outside the palace because the entry ticket is 240 rs per head due to private property and due to this this place is very less crowded. Tourist r came , take some phot...  more »
  • We visited this once. Some function was going on with horses when we visited. Architecture of palace is nice. Good place to visit and timepass.  more »
  • This was a fascinating peek into some of the gilded history of Bengaluru. The palace itself was simultaneously opulent and delapidated. One could easily imagine it in its full luxurious glory, though ...  more »

  • Entry fees us very high ₹240 per head. Compared to the fees there is nothing for display inside. Poor maintenance in some parts of palace. No provision of drinking water during the palace tour. Also the place garden us in shabby state, with broken bench. No palace to sit in the garden except a bench near the stairs leading to the garden. Clear state of negligence and poor maintenance. I wonder what they do with the entry fees ????
  • Good place to visit. Slightly overrated and overpriced (Rs 240 per head). Liked the concept of the Audio tour. The audio tour would be a great delight if you have a keen eye for interiors and attention to detail. Some of the rooms can definitely be repaired with the price they are charging for the entry.
  • I must say, it's awesome experience. They have very nice arrangement for brief explanation for its history. They will provide one equipment with headphones where u will get recorded history of this palace. So, there will no need of any guide. It's ticket charges is 240₹ for indian visitor each. This place is full of photos
  • Loved this place. But if you are going please have an hour or more to spare. The audio guided tour is fantastic but takes some time. The place is very well maintained. Had a great time there, even though by the end of it I was a bit tired from walking around so much.
  • Nice place in the middle of the city, good wants to take their picture outside palace and who likes to know the history. To visit inside palace you need to pay 240rs. There are things which are used during British time. They will provide audio guide which explains importance of all the things kept inside palace.
