  • I guess, this is best for a good morning walk. Though, anytime of the day is equally good enough. Just that if it gets too sunny, you sweat a lot and if it rains, natural shelters (trees) are availabl...  more »

  • Beautiful garden in the garden city. Nice place to spend peaceful time with family/friends. Wide variety of plants and trees are there. Well maintained. Only thing need to improve, management should use good quality of grass which will not spoil if people sit over it. So that people and enjoy sitting over natural green carpet. It was my first day outing in Garden city :)
  • Ticket price Rs. 20 per person and Rs.25 for car parking. Travelling by metro is very convenient. You can get down at Lalbagh metro station. Much better than travelling by highly congested roads nearby. Anyway, excellent place for morning walk/jog. Very well maintained. Plenty of photography opportunity. Many huge trees, plenty of birds. Extremely fresh air. Will take more than 2 hours to cover everything. Spots to see - Rose Garden Lotus pond Japanese Garden (not much here) Topiary Garden Silk and cotton tree Floral clock (nice) Band stand(just a place to relax in shade) Gardens with sprinklers look beautiful Green House plantation Some random statues etc. But it is better to with the intention of a good walk, do not expect much as a tourist. Small fruit shops, juice shops available all over the Garden. All in all, u can spend some good time here and take plenty of photographs as well
  • One of the best places to visit with family in Bangalore. Amidst dense green cover you can experience beautiful plants trees, varied species of flowers. A total coaster ride for floral lovers. Also the lake which is very well maintained you can spend a relaxing day. The entry fees are rightly placed. Good time to visit Nov, Dec and Jan
  • This is best place to relax and spend time with kids. If you have younger kids then this is the best place to leave them. The area to roam around is huge. There are trees which are more than 200 years old. If you go for the morning walk entry is free. This place you can connect with nature. During independence day and republic day they will arrange flowers show here
  • I absolutely love this place. Great for nature lovers. Feels good to see how people have tried to preserve the diversity. For a city that deals with tall buildings, it feels great to be here and just relax a bit. Perfect for a small picnic with family N friends. Best time to go when flowers are in full bloom and bring out the phhotographer in you.
